Lime Mortar Project: Tenement Restoration, Levenford Terrace.

Sandstone tenement restoration project. This facade required large areas of restoration. The lime mortar was colour matched to the existing. Original cast airvents were cleaned and repaired restoring them to their original condition. The surface finishes were meticulously recreated and joints repointed neatly with lime putty. Finally a waterproofing agent was applied preventing water ingress, further decay and improving thermal insulation and saving on heating costs.
